The VIP BBQ Taco Showdown



Patrón Tequila, Bud Light, SCHOMP BMW,  Ole Hickory Pits, Raquelitas Tortillas and Deep Eddy bring you a one-of-a-kind Taco showdown between six of the of the greatest BBQ Pit Masters in Colorado!


With the help of Ole Hickory BBQ Pits, TOP TACO will build a world-class grilling arena in VIP for a one-of-a-kind BBQ Competition! All VIP ticket holders will get a single token upon entering the reserved area to vote for their favorite taco prepared by the Colorado giants of BBQ listed below. Attendees will have a chance to learn from the best as there will be cooking demos where BBQ aficionados will have the chance to see these masters at work in a small and intimate setting. Creative cocktails will be served by Patron Tequila and Deep Eddy Vodka, an assortment of craft beers will be sampled by Anheuser-Busch and water and soda will be served by Pepsi.

Rolling Smoke

Oklahoma native and founder of Rolling Smoke, Terry Walsh, specializes in Southern-style, slow-smoked meats. Catering to all barbecue cravings, the menu showcases Smoked Turkey Breast, Burnt Ends, and Honey Bourbon Sausage, along with all the classics, like Pork Spare Ribs and Beef Brisket. Sugarfire Smoke House

At Sugarfire Smoke House, the goal is to do more than make great barbecue, but rather reinvent it. A St. Louis staple, Sugarfire made its official Colorado debut last summer under the leadership of Chad and Jamie Green. They then added award winning Chef/Pit Master Jeff Gebott to the team. They recently placed 2nd at Chicken Fight and they are ready to compete at Top Taco!

Chef William Espiricueta has a passion for wood fired and smoked foods. After five years working alongside Chef Steve Redzikowski at Oak at Fourteenth and Acorn, Chef Bill introduced Smok to Denver.  They recently won 1st Place at Chicken Fight Festival.  They recently won first place at Chicken Fight Festival.

Woodhill Small Batch BBQ

Woodhill Small Batch BBQ has been rolling smoke throughout the metro area at various block parties, breweries, concerts, catering, and private events with their competition-style barbecue since 2015. Since then they have worked with Guy Fieri at his Player’s Tailgate Party in Houston for the Super Bowl, as well as Breckenridge Breweries’ 25th anniversary, 7000 person Hootenanny in Littleton. Pit Master, Keith Segura, was a team member and competed with “Pig Floyd” for almost 15 years before creating the awesome Woodhill Small Batch BBQ Trailer with his wife Jodi. Woodhill Small Batch BBQ is looking forward to its first Top Taco in the 2019 VIP BBQ Challenge.
